How to get there

Its fair to say most people drive, if you have got a family then obviously it is more cost effective.

The thing about staying at Rare Break is you won’t need your car, in fact you probably wont use it for a week. Everything is within easy walking distance, so why not have a week off from driving.

You can easily get a cab from the station or the airport, or we might even be able to sort you out a lift.

But with a bit of planning there are other options, Newquay has great transport links, for example:

Rail

Newquay is on the mainline down from London and the North, so by booking early and using Family Rail cards you can get down pretty cheap. If you really feel you will need a car, why not rent a VW Camper for the week and live the surfer dream (whilst sleeping in a comfy bed at night)

Air travel

There are two low cost operator flying into the airport. Ryanair have flights from Stanstead, and Air South West have a flights from Gatwick, Manchester and a number of other airports which will make you journey a lot easier if you fancy a change
